Kyle Kirkwood dominated the junior formula racing ladder on his way to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and has enjoyed multiple wins with the Andretti Global team. Kirkwood just recently dominated and won the biggest race outside the Indy 500 (and some might say bigger), the one and only Freedom 250 on the streets of Washington DC! He’s developed a reputation for his street race, street cred, as he also won the inaugural Arlington Grand Prix in Texas earlier this year. He’s won on the streets of Nashville and Detroit, as well as winning the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach twice. We caught up with Kirkwood just prior to the 2026 AGPLB in the media bullpen, where he answers some of our questions as well as some from the rest of the media scrum. A wide-ranging interview. Enjoy!
