Racing-school precision, applied to protection
FastLane has spent 40+ years teaching people to drive at the limit. We bring that same professional coaching to the people whose driving is part of their job: law enforcement, executive-protection details, corporate security teams, and the academies that train them. Our instructors come from racing, police, and military backgrounds, and they teach on real racetracks with proper skid pads, not an empty parking lot.
The standard we coach to is simple: total control, total smoothness. The best protection driver is also the smoothest driver in the car, the one who keeps everyone calm and never spills the coffee, while always being ready for the moment that matters.
What we train
Programs are built around the fundamentals that keep a driver and their passengers safe under pressure: advanced vision and hazard recognition, threshold and emergency braking, evasive maneuvers and emergency lane changes, skid control and recovery, precision low-speed and reversing control, and coordinated multi-vehicle convoy and motorcade driving. We train in the kinds of vehicles real details use, from sedans to full-size SUVs, so the skills transfer directly to the field.
Every program ends with a formal evaluation and a certificate of completion, and each student leaves with a documented assessment of their driving. (Our certificate reflects completion of FastLane training; it is not a government or POST accreditation.)
Who we train
This is a B2B program delivered to teams, not a consumer checkout. We work with law enforcement agencies, private security and executive-protection firms, corporate security and fleet-safety teams, government agencies, and security training academies that bring us their own cohorts. We have delivered custom programs for both security academies and corporate teams.
Engagements are bespoke and scoped per client: one to several days, your team or a mixed group, your vehicles or ours, at Buttonwillow Raceway Park or arranged to fit your needs. Tell us your objectives and we will design the program around them.
