Felix Rosenqvist has been winning races and championships in a wide variety of cars throughout his career including being a winner and multiple pole-winner in the NTT IndyCar Series. Fresh off of his first oval pole position at Texas Motor Speedway for his Arrow McLaren SP racing team (AMSP), he spent some time with me before the 2022 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (where he qualified fourth and finished in 11^th after some tire degradation issues and getting hit by Alex Rossi). In the interview, he gets into the details of using a simulator and how that helps prepare him for going fast right away on the race track. Enjoy! NOTE: Rosenqvist loomed large in the silly season rumors as he was re-signed to a contract extension with Arrow McLaren SP. AMSP also signed Rossi for 2023 and perhaps Alex Palou. Where does that leave Rosenqvist? Possibly, staying where he’s at, moving to the team’s Formula E program or???

Rosenqvist qualified fourth at Long Beach and ran in that position early on putting pressure on pole-sitter Colton Herta, eventual race winner Josef Newgarden and last year’s champion Alex Palou. Felix fountain
