Cindy Sisson is the executive director and a founding board member of Women in Motorsports North America, or WIMNA, for short. She has seen tremendous growth in the organization over the years. WIMNA seems to be going from strength to strength and in this interview you’ll see how she has promoted and worked tirelessly to put together such an important organization in the motorsports world. We met up with Sisson at the 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in the media lounge where she fills us in on where this organization has been and where it’s going. There was also a special moment where she talks about Lyn St. James (who’s also been a featured guest on our podcast). Enjoy!

This is a rendering of the Spire Motorsports NASCAR Cup car featuring WIMNA. It’s a promotion for the WIMNA Nation membership program. The promotion was to become a member and get your name on Daniel Suarez #7 Spire Motorsports, WIMNA Chevrolet that will be driven at the Kansas City NASCAR race on Sept. 27^th.
