Zhuhai International Circuit

Zhuhai International Circuit, known as ZIC, is a permanent road racing course located in the Jin Ding area of Zhuhai City in Guangdong Province, China. Opened in November 1996, it holds a special place in the country's motorsport history as China's first purpose-built permanent race track. The layout was designed by the Australian firm Kinhill Engineers, the same group behind the former Adelaide street circuit that hosted Formula One in Australia.

The full circuit measures 4.319 km, or about 2.684 miles, and runs over a flat, sweeping 14-turn layout surfaced in asphalt and rated to FIA Grade 2. The combination of a long main straight, fast sweeping corners, and several tight technical sections makes ZIC a strong teaching ground for braking discipline, throttle control, and racing lines. Its mix of high-speed and slow-speed corners rewards drivers who can manage car balance and momentum across very different corner types.

Over the decades the circuit has hosted a deep roster of international series, including the Asian Le Mans Series and the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup endurance races, the FIA GT Championship, A1 Grand Prix, Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, the SRO GT Cup, the Asia Road Racing Championship, and TCR touring car racing. That heritage makes Zhuhai one of the most important and well-known venues in Asian motorsport, and a benchmark setting for drivers looking to develop circuit craft on a track that has tested some of the world's best.
