Yas Marina Circuit

Yas Marina Circuit is a 3.281 mile (5.281 km) motorsport circuit on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Designed by renowned track architect Hermann Tilke and opened in 2009, it holds an FIA Grade 1 license and has become one of the most recognizable venues in modern motorsport, best known as the long-time home of the season-ending Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The layout winds 16 turns through a striking waterfront setting, blending long full-throttle straights with tight, technical chicanes and sweeping corners that demand precise braking and car control. The circuit threads past the Yas Marina harbor and runs partly beneath the landmark W Abu Dhabi hotel, and its signature twilight running, starting in daylight and finishing under floodlights, gives drivers a distinctive shift in track conditions during a single session. Beyond Formula One, the venue has hosted the Asian Le Mans Series, GP2 Asia, and V8 Supercars between 2010 and 2012.
