World Wide Technology Raceway is a motorsports complex in Madison, Illinois, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, Missouri. Formerly known as Gateway International Raceway and Gateway Motorsports Park, the facility centers on a 1.25-mile, four-turn asphalt oval that opened in May 1997, with banking of roughly 11 degrees in turns 1 and 2 and 9 degrees in turns 3 and 4. The site also features multiple infield road course configurations, a quarter-mile drag strip, and a kartplex, making it one of the most versatile racing venues in the American Midwest.

The track has a long and varied history dating back to a road course built in 1985, and it has hosted top-tier racing across nearly every major discipline. Today it welcomes the NASCAR Cup Series for the Enjoy Illinois 300, the IndyCar Series for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, NASCAR Xfinity Series and Truck Series rounds, and the NHRA Midwest Nationals. Over the years it has also staged Trans-Am, ARCA, Formula Drift, and AMA Superbike events.

For drivers, World Wide Technology Raceway offers a demanding combination of an egg-shaped oval that rewards precise line and throttle control alongside technical road course layouts that build car control and racecraft. Its mix of high-speed oval running, road racing, drag racing, and karting in one location makes it a valuable proving ground for developing skills across disciplines and a notable destination for anyone serious about motorsport.
