New Jersey Motorsports Park is a road racing and motorsports entertainment complex located in Millville, in Cumberland County, New Jersey. Opened in 2008 after breaking ground the prior year, the facility was built as a modern multi-use venue and holds an FIA Grade 3 rating. It is anchored by two purpose-built road courses that can be run separately or combined for a longer layout.
The headline circuit is the Thunderbolt course, a flowing 2.25-mile (3.62 km) road course with 13 turns that rewards commitment through quick direction changes and elevation transitions. Its companion, the Lightning course, is a tighter 1.9-mile (3.06 km), 10-turn layout that is popular for club racing, karting-style intensity, and driver development. Together the two tracks give instructors and students a wide range of corner types to learn on, from technical low-speed complexes to faster sweeping sections.
NJMP has hosted a deep schedule of professional and amateur competition, including MotoAmerica Pro motorcycle racing, the FR Americas open-wheel series, Atlantic Championship and Trans-Am events, and a long-running SCCA program. Its proximity to the Philadelphia, New York, and Mid-Atlantic markets, combined with two distinct circuits and open-seating access, makes it a practical and engaging destination for drivers pursuing track time, racing licenses, and high-performance instruction.
