MotorSport Ranch is a members-based road racing facility in Cresson, Texas, roughly 14 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Founder Jack V. Farr conceived it as a country club built around a road course instead of a golf course, purchasing 304 acres in 1996 and opening the first circuit in July 1999. Today it is one of the most active private motorsport venues in the southern United States, complete with hundreds of garages, a clubhouse, a skid pad, and resident motorsports businesses.
The site offers three configurable asphalt layouts. The East course runs 1.7 miles through 11 turns with about 30 feet of elevation change, while the tighter West course covers 1.3 miles over 6 turns with around 70 feet of elevation change. Combined, the two sections form a 3.1-mile, 16-turn circuit that ranks among the longest road courses in North America, and every layout can be run clockwise or counterclockwise for added variety.
For drivers, MotorSport Ranch is a proven proving ground for car control, with technical corner sequences and meaningful elevation that reward smooth inputs and precise lines. It hosts high performance driving education programs, SCCA Track Night in America, and a range of club and series events, making it an ideal setting for students progressing from first track days toward competition licensing.
