Fuji Speedway is a permanent motorsport road course set in the eastern foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Originally conceived as an American-style banked superspeedway, it was completed instead as a road course and opened in January 1966. The track is now owned by Toyota and holds an FIA Grade 1 license, the highest international certification, making it eligible to host the fastest categories of racing.

The current Grand Prix layout runs 4.563 km (2.835 mi) over 16 turns and is defined by one of the longest straights in all of motorsport, stretching roughly 1.475 km. That huge run to the first corner rewards slipstreaming, top-end speed, and precise braking, while the flowing middle and tighter technical sectors test car balance and commitment with the snow-capped mountain as a backdrop. The circuit was extensively redesigned and reopened in April 2005 after a closure in 2003.

Fuji Speedway holds a major place in racing history as the site of the first Formula One race in Japan in 1976, and it later hosted the Japanese Grand Prix again in 2007 and 2008. Today it anchors a packed calendar including the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Fuji, Super GT, Super Formula, and GT World Challenge Asia. For drivers, learning Fuji means mastering high-speed straightline confidence, heavy braking zones, and a rhythm that blends raw pace with technical precision, skills that translate directly to any high-performance circuit.
