The Circuit (Track 2) is Buttonwillow's newest road course, opened in January 2025: a purpose-built 2.56-mile layout that runs one direction with a smooth, high-grip surface, built-in elevation, and fast, flowing corners. Drivers describe it as fast, grippy, and Euro-esque, modern and focused, yet unmistakably Buttonwillow. It's a fresh challenge for returning drivers and a serious platform for testing and development.

A bit of history

Buttonwillow was created by a group of California racers responding to the loss of Riverside, with the California Sports Car Club (Cal Club) as majority owner; the track was completed in December 1995 under founding President and CEO Les Phillips. A second track was discussed for more than a decade before The Circuit finally opened, hosting its inaugural SCCA Majors weekend on January 25–26, 2025.
