Brainerd International Raceway

Brainerd International Raceway is a multi-discipline motorsport complex located northwest of the city of Brainerd in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. Opened in July 1968 under the original name Donnybrooke Speedway, the facility combines a quarter-mile dragstrip with overlapping road courses set among the lakes and pine forests of central Minnesota. The 2.5-mile, 13-turn Competition course and the longer 3.1-mile, 10-turn Donnybrooke configuration give the venue genuine versatility for cars and motorcycles alike.

The road course is best known for its long, fast straights and high commitment corners, a layout that rewards confidence, precise braking, and clean throttle application at speed. That open, flowing character has made Brainerd a favorite of sports car and superbike competitors for decades, while the on-site dragstrip hosts the NHRA Lucas Oil Nationals, one of the most popular events on the national drag racing calendar. The complex also includes a kart track, making it a complete home for grassroots and professional racing.

Over its history Brainerd has welcomed the Trans-Am Series, MotoAmerica and Superbike competition, GT World Challenge America, and FR Americas, building a deep reputation across road racing disciplines. For drivers, the circuit offers an outstanding environment to build high-speed skills in a real racing setting, with the space and pace to translate classroom fundamentals into time on track.
