Drivers in an accident avoidance situation sometimes overreact and, as a result, give their car the wrong input. Going through these maneuvers,
as well as the emotions behind the wheel, in a safe environment with a professional instructor, is invaluable.

Our hands-on real-life training gives drivers a better understanding of vehicle dynamics which will help them
react in panic situations. Allowing students to experience a
car at its limits, at slow speeds, and in a controlled
environment, gives them this knowledge.
Not only do they become more familiar with where the limits
are, they are also given better information on what to do
if they approach those limits on the public roads when facing
a possible accident. The Defensive Driving Academy staff
also works hard to create a fun atmosphere that will put even
the most timid student at ease.
