Each Defensive Driving Academy course consists small amounts of classroom time combined with interactive driver safety techniques and advanced skills.

Understand your vehicle, advanced skid control, wet weather car control, ABS braking / Emergency Stop, dangers of distracted driving, preventing roll-overs (especially in SUV's), depth perception/vision techniques, and braking distance demonstrations

WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Participants should have a minimum of three months of driving experience and feel comfortable behind-the-wheel of their vehicle. Note: Parents are encouraged to attend and are invited to participate in the interactive Parent Coaching Seminar at no additional cost.

Our professional instructors help you to combine the classroom discussion with large amounts of behind the wheel seat time in our race-prepared Toyota Celica GT coupes.

Elevate your street driving skills using advanced racing techniques to help you understand how your input, as a driver, affects handling.

Negotiate the challenging and technical Streets of Willow (1.8-mile road course) where the pros and celebrities prepare each year for the Toyota Pro/Celebrity race.

Learn all about vehicle dynamics and vehicle skids on our 400’ X 400’ skid pad.

You will graduate a much more accomplished driver, armed with skills that may someday save your life.

Graduates of our One Day High Performance Course are qualified for this event which is held on the Streets of Willow.

Combine the basic vehicle dynamics knowledge you learned on Day One with continual lapping sessions on day two. More personalized attention and additional track time will polish your newly-found driving skills.

Learn various cornering techniques, the proper “racing line,” and start identifying your strengths and weaknesses.

After raising the level of your own driving ability, you will begin to think like a race car driver, looking for the fastest, most efficient way around the track!

Advanced students will experience the 2.5-mile course, dubbed the “The Fastest Road in the West”. Experience the high-speed turns and off-camber corners, combined with long straight-a ways and exciting elevation changes — a true test of your driving abilities! Learn where small, subtle changes with your inputs to the car make a big difference in your performance as lapping sessions become more advanced.

Graduates of our Two Day High Performance Courses are qualified for this third day of racing.
